Post-Deliverance Ministry   -   Immediate Care and Advice

In the event of you being involved in major deliverance ministry to an individual, it is important to ensure, that, when the ministry is completed, the person is encouraged forward in his/her Christian life. For some the experience will have come as something as a shock, and sensitive after-care is an important part of his/her walk towards wholeness.

You may find the following guidelines helpful:

                Pray, that the Holy Spirit will fill every area of the person’s life  -  especially to bring healing to those areas in which deliverance has just taken place. Pray, that the Lord will especially seal whatever entry point the demonic had taken advantage of.

                Give as much love and encouragement as is necessary and  the person can receive.

                Assure the person, that, where deliverance has taken place, he/she need not fear “re-invasion”, if he/she walks rightfully with God.

                Remind the person, that deliverance and healing is a process.

                Encourage the person to seek any ongoing help he/she may need from his/her local church fellowship, should this prove necessary.

                Keep praying for them.

                Encourage the person to:

       be continuously filled with the Holy Spirit;

       read the Word of God daily;

       wear the armour of God at all times;

       be on guard against the enemy’s counterattacks;

       be in good fellowship with other Christians;

       walk continuously in forgiveness;

       praise God in all circumstances.
